Jiaqing Wilson-Yang | MSW, RSW
A trans social worker and writer with 20 years of experience.
Psychotherapy
Discrepancies between who we are, how we are viewed, or how we move through the world can cause and contribute to the stress we experience in our lives. Together, we can create a space to safely explore the difficulties in your life and build strategies and solutions that work for you. I am a trans woman providing one on one client centred, trauma informed, narrative based talk therapy to youth and adults navigating depression, anxiety, difficult relationships, bullying, transitioning, coming out, neurodivergence, disability, family violence, intimate partner violence, childhood trauma, sexual violence, racial identity, and loss.
Consulting
I hold a Master of Social Work and am Register Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. For the last 20 years I have worked in community organizations and universities supporting queer & trans people, survivors of sexual violence, intimate partner violence & other forms of gender-based violence, and survivors of childhood trauma.
Writing and Editing
I offer copy editing, content creation, and writing support.
